Upon completion of the online course, you will receive evidence of your training certificate.
Transport for NSW require additional information to complete your Bus Driver Authority. Upon successfully completing our course you are required to have this information and complete an online application with Transport for NSW.
National Police Check
Medical Assessment Form - completed online with Transport for NSW
A copy of NSW Driver Licence
Your Driver Training NSW Certificate for this course
Evidence of citizenship and visa status
Driving history for the last 5 years (only if you have held a Driver Licence from another state or territory in that time)
Once you have all of this information, you are required to complete your Transport for NSW application online here.

YOUR ONLINE COURSE
Once payment has been received you will receive a link to our online course. This can take up to 24hrs depending on the speed of the payment transaction. During business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, this can take up to 12 hours. On Public Holidays and Weekends, it make take 24 hours.
SUBMIT ID
Once your have purchased your course and created your login, you will be required to upload your ID. You will do this in the course. Your ID is verified by one of our Transport for NSW assessors. During business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, this can take up to 12 hours. On Public Holidays and Weekends, it make take 24 hours.
ASSESSED
You are required to score 100% on each quiz to proceed to the next part. Your short answer will be assessed by our qualified trainer.

Your online course has five parts, with a quiz at the end of each part. There is one short answer response requiring a written response.
CERTIFICATE
Your certificate will be emailed to your email with instructions on how to continue your journey to becoming a qualified bus driver in NSW.
PLEASE NOTE: TO BE FULLY QUALIFIED TO BE A BUS DRIVER IN NSW, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE TWO ACCREDITATIONS:

The successful completing of the Bus Driver Authority Online course by Driver Training NSW does not lead to a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment or Qualification.
Once you have successfully completed this course you can gain your heavy vehicle licence with Driver Training NSW, if you haven’t already gained this qualification.
